Decades of Sound, One Vision
King Back Entertainment is an independent record label built around a recording studio and podcast studio in Santee, CA, founded by Sir Elvis Jones Jr., a sound engineer, producer, and independent artist whose journey began when his mentor Buddy Miles of Jimi Hendrix's Band of Gypsys sent him to the School of Performing Arts.
He went on to work with Deemo Records and Harold Whaley, San Diego Music Awards winner and Soul Train's Breakaway Artist of the Year, who introduced him to the recording studio and MIDI based instruments. That experience led him to engineer sound at the Juke Joint Café, study live studio recording at Mira Costa College, and later attend San Diego City College for music production and commercial music marketing, where he became a founding member of SD City Knights Records, the first and only college to launch its own commercial music marketing label.
Today, King Back Entertainment is to independent labels and artists what Kinko's was to the independent businessman, providing the infrastructure to turn creative visions into polished, commercially viable projects. Distributing through Sony and offering full-service recording, production, branding, and promotion for serious artists ready to go further.
